Baby Steps
September 24th, 2006
I spent this weekend in… well, Conneaut, Ohio. As middle-of-nowhere that it was, I nevertheless took a small wine tour (picked up a madly awesome riesling) and swung by an apple orchard that… well, I’ve already eaten all the apples if that’s any indication. It was the exact right way to usher in the Fall, by far my most favorite season, made n-times as good because it happened to involve a Megan. So yeah, I’m somewhat recharged, relaxed, and want to see if I can get a few things back on track.
First thing: Small steps. In an effort to get myself out of this continually-procrastinating funk, I’m going to try a gradual approach to rebuilding my life rather than the all-on approach I’ve been taking. So, baby steps: Small victories. Get those to propel me to the next one, and go from there. For tonight: One chapter plus problem set, then Salsa. Tomorrow: Well, we’ll see. I need to be at work early, lets see if I can do that.
